Manitoba’s 2024 Mega Million Choices Lottery is designed to raise funds in support of the St. Boniface Hospital and Albrechtsen Research Centre initiatives, health research and patient care.

• Only 65,000 Main lottery tickets will be offered for sale.
• The number of 50/50 Plus™ tickets that can be sold is unlimited because there is no limit to the number a customer can purchase. The 50/50 Plus™ ticket total will be determined by the number sold by the lottery’s final cut-off date or early sell-out date.
• There will be 438,000 Big Score Plus™ tickets will be offered for sale.

2024 Mega Million Choices Lottery Main ticket prices are:

• Single for $100
• 2 tickets for $175
• 4 tickets for $300
• 8 tickets for $500

50/50 Plus™ ticket packages are:

• 2 tickets for $20
• 10 tickets for $40
• 30 tickets for $60
• 60 tickets for $80

Big Score Plus™ ticket packages are:

• 2 tickets for $20
• 5 tickets for $40
• 15 tickets for $60
• 40 tickets for $80

No, you must buy one of the 2024 Mega Million Choices Main ticket packages to be eligible to purchase a 50/50 Plus™ or Big Score Plus™ ticket.

Yes, 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The add-on 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets will only be accepted online at purchase.stbmegamillionchoices.ca/top-up or by phone at 1-855-256-7203 after the initial purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline.  All add-on purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add-on to their order.  Purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed to the address on the original main ticket purchase.

The 50/50 PLUS™ can generate a maximum of $3,000,000 in gross revenue, the winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $1,500,000.  The 50/50 PLUS™ minimum prize guarantee is $150,000.

There are 232 Big Score Plus™ regular winners of $500 Cash each.

There are four (4) Big Score Final Plus™ Winners of $12,500 each.

Tickets purchased will be eligible for all 236 draws in the Big Score Plus™.

Cut-off date for ticket sales is Midnight Thursday March 21, 2024.

The Big Score Plus™ and Final Draws will take place on Wednesday April 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.

The Big Score Plus™ are not calendar draws.

• A ticket is not considered purchased until a verified financial transaction is complete.
• Ticket requests with cheques returned for insufficient funds (NSF) will be automatically voided.
• The St. Boniface Hospital Foundation has the right to charge persons $30 to cover NSF administrative costs.

• Customers will have the choice to receive their tickets via email or mail.
• Customers who select regular mail, the official ticket will be mailed to the address provided when ordering. Please allow 3-4 weeks for your ticket(s) to arrive.
• Customers who select eTicket when ordering online or by phone will receive an email to the email address provided within 5 business days.
• Customers who select eTicket when ordering in person or by mail will receive their eTicket within 10 business days.

You must be 18 years of age or older at time of purchase.

No, tickets cannot be purchased in the name of a minor.

Yes, if you are a non-resident visiting our province you can buy a ticket in person at one of our designated outlets. All sales must take place within Manitoba.

No, hospital lottery tickets are not tax deductible.

No, ticket numbers are consecutive and computer-generated.

One name only. Tickets are issued in the buyer’s name only and prizes will only be awarded to the buyer. It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to ensure the mailing address on their ticket order form is correct. The buyer is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning.

You do not need your ticket(s) to claim your prize. Your name, address and phone number is recorded in the database along with your ticket(s) number. All winners receive a prize notification letter in the mail.

The official lottery ticket is a receipt of purchase, but participants do not need their ticket in hand to be included in the draw(s). If you have not received your ticket, there may be an error in your email or mailing address. To request a reprint of your ticket, please call (204) 235-3190 or email [email protected].

Yes! Each ticket is eligible to win one prize in each prize category. A prize category is defined as each group of identical prizes. After each prize category draw is completed, all tickets go back in the draw for the next prize category draws.

Yes, there will be Cash options for all prize draws. See our rules and regulations for more information.

Draws are conducted in accordance with the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.

• All prize winners will be notified by mail as to what they have won and where/how to claim their prize(s).
• Cash prizes will be mailed in cheque format to the mailing address on the winner’s ticket.
• All winners will be required to present their prize notification letter along with a piece of Government issued picture identification when picking up prizes.
• A complete list of all winners will be published online at www.stbmegamillionchoices.ca within 5 days after the final Grand Prize draw has been completed. Upon request to the Foundation office a listing of winners will be provided.    

• The Grand Prize winner will have 7 business days after the Grand Prize draw has been made on Thursday April 4, 2024 to make their selection of their choice options. In the event that the winner cannot be reached or does not indicate their selection to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation prior to 12:00 p.m. on Monday April 15, 2024, the cash option will be awarded.
• The winner of the Loyalty Bonus Draw # 1 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 28, 2024 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value.
• The winner of the Ultimate Bonus Draw # 2 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 13, 2024 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
• The winner of the Early Bird Draw # 3 will have 7 business days after the Early Bird draw has been made on Wednesday March 20, 2024 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value. Title transfer of the Condo located at 137-1505 Molson Street in Winnipeg, MB on or before November 1, 2024 should that choice be taken.
• The winners of draws 2529 to 2532 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Monday April 15, 2024 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
• Winners of the Gift Card or Cash option prizes Draws 29-2528 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 4, 2024 to make their selection. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.
• Destination Travel Vouchers from Fareconnect.com are for travel from Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. If possible, all travel must be completed by August 31, 2025. In the event travel is not possible, the cash option value will be provided to the winner. It is the responsibility of the winner to purchase travel insurance. Additional costs over the prize value are the responsibility of the winner.
• All unclaimed prizes become property of the Foundation 90 days after the draw has been performed unless otherwise specified in these rules. We will notify winners by mail and/or by email followed by one telephone call.
• It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the email and postal address(s) on their ticket is correct.

• Cash prizes will be mailed in cheque format. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket is correct.
• If requested, prizes will be mailed out to out-of-town residents.
• If someone other than the winner is claiming a non-Cash prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter and a copy of his/her picture identification.
• Further details on how to claim your prizes will be included in the notification letter winners receive.

• Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.

• Members of the Board of Directors and employees of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, employees’ household members, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2024 Mega Million Choices Lottery.

• Proceeds from the 2024 Mega Million Choices Lottery are used by the St. Boniface Hospital to provide quality health care and facilitate world-class health research and patient care at the St. Boniface Hospital and Albrechtsen Research Centre.

• The 2024 Mega Million Choices Lottery provides the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation with a much-needed revenue stream that allows us to fund patient care programs and research activities. The lottery is self-supporting. Ticket sales generate enough revenue to not only cover the entire cost of running the lottery (i.e. prizes, etc.,) but they also provide additional revenues that are then directed to meet the needs of the St. Boniface Hospital.

• All private information collected during running this lottery is governed by the privacy policies of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and the Province of Manitoba.
• We do not rent, sell or trade mailing lists to anyone.
